A Message from VoicesNet

Hello to all of the Poets and Writers of the World!

I admit it! I like writing to all of you regularly through this Visions medium. I think we can stay in touch better this way and that I can keep you updated on everything we are trying to accomplish around here at VoicesNet.com.

We took a hiatus for the month of July and are glad to be back in the swing of things. Its exciting sending out this Literary Journal. It should keep getting better and better as we get rolling.

Here are some updates on some of our programs:

Poetry Ambassador Program

Our new international poetry outreach program has made great progress with 50+ International Poetry Ambassadors in our new program and new signups arriving almost every day.

I continue to be inspired from emails that I receive from our Ambassadors who live all around the globe.

If you are interested in finding out more about this exciting new program, check out our new International Poetry Ambassador Section of our website. You are welcome to check it out at: www.voicesnet.com/poetryambassadorhome.htm.

In our next Visions Literary Journal mailing, we will be including an article about our new Ambassador program and also hope to have some pictures of readings that are occuring in this program for you to see.

VoicesNet Anthology Poetry Contest Update

Forum Activities

Get interactive at our forums, stop by and read some poetry. We have a lot of new members and many that have been around for a long time. I am constantly getting notes in new membership requests about how the VoicesNet poets are so very talented.

Visions Literary Journal Progress

This is kind of a subtle return to action for us here at VoicesNet, after taking a July vacation from our bi-weekly Visions Literary Journal mailings.

In coming editions, we will have articles about the Israeli-Palestine Conflict, the Merits of Getting Published, a topic article from our Debates and News Forum, and other interesting articles for you to read.

We will also continue to bring to you some good poetry from talented poets from all around the world.

We have received many submitted articles. If you write an article that you would like to see in the Journal, then send it to jj@voicesnet.com.

We have surpassed 10000 subscribers for this Journal. How exciting is that!

Links Page

Poet in Residence Listener, also the head of our Technical Forum, has revised our Links Page recently and you can check it out at www.voicesnet.com/poetrylinks.htm. This whole area will be expanded to eventually be a type of poetry and writers directory, or search engine. You will be able to use it to look up information about writing and poetry.

We continue to look for established and new poetry related websites to exchange links with. If you have a site that is poetry and/or writing related, then please Click here to get our link exchange page where our HTML linkage code can be found to cut and paste into your website!

Well, thanks for supporting us by being on this mailing list. I want to always thank you all for participating in our VoicesNet endeavors.
