I really enjoy your mining poems, and I cannot pass one up either. I like your poems because if no one else gave miner respect you give it to one another. Where would we be with you miners now and then? You seem to have a passion for mining and gave it your all. Life is so short if under ground or above it. and this poem is a reminder of that! Politicians, most all of them, ruin it for everyone .However, no one walking in your shoes could of done any better. And it made you who you are today. And a writer of the best written mine poems!

Poem for my Indian Parents (Who Refuse to Accept me for the way I am) -- by Member: NILANJANA HALDAR, India -- added: 7/30/2020 4:48:55 AM

Someone may not like the way we Act? Talk? Walk? Look? Mates? Friends? Talents? Gifts? Dressed? They have a right to their opinion and you a right to yours. Never let their negative opinion becomes your opinion of you. You like how the Higher Power made you if someone else agrees or not. This happen to me not with my parents but with some because at age 8 I was out of high school never missing a grade. I could write like an adult at age 3, and many adults and others my age hated that. I was not accepted by them, and I was OK with that. Be with people that leaves your sails full not half full was what life was all about to me. I never argue the point or tried to win someone heart or change a mind I was never going to change. I like me, and I just said I like who I am and that that. Enjoyed your poem!~

A good one that goes down well. Some parents really don't care about the feelings and fundamental right of their children, they just want things to be done the way they wanted it not really knowing whether it suits their child's taste. We're all in this same shoe dear. They want to preserve customs, traditon and faith of their religions. Thanks for sharing.

Nice one, am still confuse about this osu of a thing, while they are being despised and looked down on in the society even at this time. When it comes to beauty, they're wonderful made, in education they are always the best, when it comes to wealth and riches they are there. My questions, what is this ous ( outcast)?

Samson Lynda. What a friend he is, always inspiring people to write. I remember few years back we used to have so much fun writing poems coz of Samson. Perhaps I have tried cherished once but not as elegantly structured as yours, it was long ago, now I've even forgotten the rules. Loved the read, it was refreshing.
