WHISPERING....SWEET LOVE

Author: Catherine Ward

Poem:
WHISPERING....SWEET LOVE

  As I bow my head in Heaven....I watch over the ones that I love;
And whisper my sweet love from the shadoes of the clouds above.
A confident smile slowly broadening upon my face;
Watching them conquer their struggles and defeating the battles that "life" throws their way.
I hold on to great pride for their witnessing of the sufferings that I've went through;
A blessing had taken place; it bore the gift of survival and the courage to stand strong too.
I left all of the darkness behind, I made changes in my life;
So that when the sun was ready to find me, I would open up to the consumption of light.
As my wings spread open and reach for the sky;
I drown myself in warmth, I feel so alive!
For there is a whole other world out there waiting on me;
It has taken some time, but just wait and see.
My suffering seemed never-ending but I am fearless and made it through;
I am living proof that dreams do come true.
My smile is glowing, knowing that without a doubt;
That faith and hope had kept me alive, to everyone; this I will shout.
I now carry myself proudly with my head held high;
With the confidence that my spirit will never die.
I have been baptized with a bright new beginning;
I grew weary but now I am winning.
I nearly drowned in a life full of fear, but I survived;
You will only witness compassion and truth as you look into my dark green eyes.
I slammed the door on my worries and tossed the fear out the window;
And welcomed the blessings that annointed me and made room for them to grow.
It's about time my life settles down and gets under control;
The radiant skies have called my name and I am content with letting go.
No more tears will this battered angel cry;
My broken wings have mended and I am ready to fly.
As I ascend into the heavens, I wave good-bye to a world so easily despised;
Thank you Lord for putting me through the trials I have tried.
And thank you for the lessons that you have taught to me so well;
Without them, this story I would not be able to tell.
Now the time has come when my prayers of strength are lovingly passed along;
To the ones that I love as I watch over from Heaven while whispering a sweet loving song.

IN THE LAP OF GOD

Author: Himanshu Singla

Poem: IN THE LAP OF GOD

IN THE LAP OF GOD
It was one beautiful night in my dreams
I found myself among magnificent beams
In the fast age everything was suddenly slowed
I was sleeping innocently ‘IN THE LAP OF GOD’

There was no place for fight and might
There was nothing like wrong and right
There I came to know the meaning of word broad.
Everything was miraculous ‘IN THE LAP OF GOD’

God had sun in one and moon in other hand
He had no place for smallness, everything about him was grand
i felt I wasted whatever he bestowed
I found the truth ‘IN THE LAP OF GOD’

God was moving his fingers through my hair
Music present was beautiful although complete silence was there
Music becomes more soothing as the silence flowed
Emptiness was found in silence ‘IN THE LAP OF GOD’

I got up and wandered in the street present there
Different galaxies were flowing with beautiful flair
Planets were revolving on every single road
Whole cosmos was found ‘IN THE LAP OF GOD’

God held my fingers and took me to my account of sins
I found my soul pinched with million of pins
I had been hypocrite, liar and fraud
I was exposed ‘IN THE LAP OF GOD’

When I got up in the morning I was both happy and sad
But thought of my dream made me glad
I still can’t believe what god had showed
A will to change aroused ‘IN THE LAP OF GOD’
