Two Poems from our Angel Poetry Collection

TURN TO GREY

Author: Alec Phillips

Poem:
TURN TO GREY

'I love her more than clouds and rain.
Such love as this I cannot feign,
it would bring naught but too much pain,'
quoth he, and as he spoke up came
his counsel and he did exclaim,
'Master, Master! Dost thou not see?
It cannot work with you and she!
For thou art human, she is not!
So banish her from all thy thoughts!'

'Although I wish to, I cannot.
For she's the one that I have sought.
And I must gain her love one day
before the world doth turn to grey.'

'She shall not love you though, my friend.
Even when the world comes to an end.
For she's an Angel with mighty wings
and spells she can weave while she sings.
Impossible it is to be!
Even though you do not see.'

'I understand thy reasoning, my friend,
but hast thou heard her sing?
I have, and as I stood there listening,
I looked upon her glistening
and saw her face turn up towards me.
She was afraid, but did not flee.
She smiled as if filled with glee
and then she ran away from me.
She loves me back, and I can tell,
I do not think that it's a spell.
I shall go forth to where she dwells
and of this love I shall her tell.
Then go up to the citadel,
I bid thee now a fond farewell!'

My fallen star

Author: Alexandra Todorovic

Poem: My fallen star

My fallen star

My dear child open your eyes
And look at the sky and tell me
Can you see our fallen star?
Can you feel her loneliness?
Taste her tears of fear and hate
And search her deep pain within her heart
Touch her with your love and
Heal her lost soul who is full of grace and sadness
And embrace her with your warm heart
My fallen star is to lost in this cruel world
My dear child open your arms and let fallen star drown into your embrace
And let her to show you her sorrow
Sorrow of love
Dear my child open your heart and let her to touch you
Don’t fear her secrets who they’re lost and painful
Just let her to touch your pure soul
Close your eyes my child
Feel the touch of forgives by our fallen star
Hear her whisper, remind of lullaby
Look at her innocent eyes
Can you see her pain?
Can you feel her sorrow in her broken heart
To broken into many little pieces
To long she is hiding in shadows
To long that she forgot her self
Her dreams are lost in shadows for eternity
She is trying so hard every day searching her light
But there’s no sign,
Around her there’s nothing
Just the darkness and death silence
She is walking through the darkness and trying so hard to find her happiness
And hoping that she will be far away from this cruel world
But this is only dream
Dream that will always haunting her forever
She let loneliness to embrace her pure heart
Living with sorrow is just killing her so painful
She close her eyes
And she is slowly falling into deep sleep
And waiting for shadow to take her soul
Shading last tears for goodbye for this lonely world
Dear my child don’t cry
Just let her to fall into your arms and she will born again
Listen her scream
And feel her pain
Can you feel darkness’ lust to take her soul away?
Can you hear the lost voices in her dream?
They calling you
Wake her up from her nightmares
Who they haunting her every night
My fallen star is falling so deep into dust
So deep that I can smell her surrender
I can feel her wounds are crying for burning
And I can feel her tears of sorrow far from here
In my dreams I saw her laying down on cold ground
Without hope and love
Love, that’s she always wanted in her heart
In her heart I feel nothing but sorrow
And her angel is shading the last tear for burning into flaming
She close her eyes
And let the shadow turn her into dust
All this years she was trying so hard to find her light
But there’s nothing
Around her is darkness and death silence
My fallen star sleep now
And let this eternity memory erase from your heart forever
Sleep now my fallen star in peace
