Two Poems from our Angel Poetry Collection

The Return

Author: Robert Miller

Poem:
The Return

  With your angelic wings
spread so wide,
you flew down
by my side.
There you were
hovering in place,
with your halo above
and vibrant face.
You smiled at me
but did not speak,
thats when i started
to feel weak.
It's only because i realized
who you were right then,
It was you that i lost last month
you were my great uncle ben.
You came back to show me
that you recieved your wings,
and that smile on your face
from the peace heaven brings.

FALLING

Author: Sinead Tynan

Poem: FALLING

Butterfly wings flapping softly,soaring high,
Bluey green tips, gliding through the sky.
Bluebird song thrilling,a sweet lullaby.
To the heavens,Angels called by a child's cry,
Hummingbird flits from flower to flower,
Sun radiates,through a spring shower,
Little boy fell,an Angel kissed his knee.
He smiled,stood up,pointed at she,
Shimmering dots of colour, brighest light of all,
The Angel smiled at him,be careful not to fall.
