Two Poems from our Angel Poetry Collection

THE END TIS DEATH

Author: Christina Ward

Poem:
THE END TIS DEATH

Tis an angel who cries in my arms
He has sadness that play in his eyes
Eternal suffering, pain so deep so strong

Enough pain to feel for the whole world
Not a tear shed
Denied the world is, of how he feels

Thoughts of death, but yet he cant die
Internal burning of his soul, he feels like hes in hell
Silence plagues him, but it is of his own will

Down pour of tears
Earth see's it as rain, only rain, how can anyone know
Almost asleep now, tears come lightly, a light rain
Tis an angel who cries in my arms
His pain has almost subsided......... for now

ANGEL

Author: John Boak

Poem: ANGEL

It was a dark and lonely life
Living each day in total madness
Always in chaos, always in strife
An ordinary life full of sadness

Then one day an angel came
She came in a mortals disguise
Healing me, taking away my shame
Loving me, making my soul rise

She was wearing an ordinary housedress
Looking simple but stunningly glorious
From my life she cleaned up the mess
Making me feel so gallantly victorious

I never believed angels were real
Never believed until the day she came
Now I'm a changed man by the way I feel
True love for my lovely angel I proclaim

If I be granted a longer lease
And live this life a little longer
It would give me joy if her I can please
Love her, hold her and in my heart keep her
