Two Poems from our Anniversary Poetry Collection

MISSING YOU!

Author: Tabitha Dinger

Poem:
MISSING YOU!

  We can be as one as soon as my time is done.
I will hold you all night long, kissing and hugging you while dancing to our song.

I imagine the candlelight reflecting in your eyes. All I want to do is remember this night and cry. When I am around you, my heart always pounds. You are the love of my life, for you never bring me down.

I am alone is this hell, but I hold onto you in my heart, even though we are miles apart. I can't be in your arms to feel the warm embrace, but I hope I'm in your thoughts and heart that is a pretty good place.

I miss you beyond words, and I can't wait to see you again. For now I can only remember our very first kiss, but soon I won't have to reminisce.

A NYMPH

Author: Muhammad Jarral

Poem: A NYMPH

At one dark summer midnight,
I went through pain and delight.
The cool breeze made me sleep,
Brought me to the dale, very deep.
Roved I, city to city, street to street,
Valley to valley, with swollen feet.

Then a fairy Nymph came to me,
Caressed my forehead like a bee;
When sits to suck, smell and sap,
And rests on petals, in flower's lap.
She seemed pretty, happy and gay,
Like a blooming rose of the May.

Dressed she was with full grace,
Bowed politely with serene face.
I fondly patted and raised her head,
While she began to big tears shed;
I embraced her for she was my wife,
My parted love, my soul and my life.
She lifting up my sad soul very high,
Vanished suddenly with a deep sigh.
