~ALEX AND ME ~ (SUSAN SMITH'S BABIES)

Author: Jennifer Sangster

Poem:
~ALEX AND ME ~ (SUSAN SMITH'S BABIES)

Mommy we're up here in Heaven, both Alex and me.
With our friend Jesus, and it's something to see.
But Alex is so little, he doesn't understand.
So I do like you told me,
and take hold of his hand.
Sometimes when he cries and asks about you,
I give him a hug because it's all I can do.
But mommy, I still don't understand
why you traded our life for some other man.
Cause we were so happy with Dad and you.
But now that we're gone, What's dad to do?
Jesus said I'm special, though I'm only three
And he has great plans, for Alex and me.
So I told him our story the best I could
I asked him to forgive you, he said that he would.
But when we first got there I heard Jesus scream
My Father, My Father, What does this mean?
God said My Son, the number is few
who enter this Kingdom that's worthy of you.
So I give them to you, as my only sons.
For Heaven must finish what Susan has done.
I trust you to love them as your very own,
and announce to all heaven,
that the boys are at home!

MY LENA, MY LENA

Author: Robin Sarrio

Poem: MY LENA, MY LENA

i need you to know the happiness you bring me so much as you grow. When i close my eyes and remember that smile, you're your mom all over again, when she was a child. I think of you twenty-four seven, because you're my little angel sent from heaven. Please forgive me for being so proud, because i have someone as precious as you for my grandchild. My life has changed but for the best. I think of you at night while i rest. My lena, my lena, i'm too short to grab the stars from the sky. So, here's some for now until i can reach that high. So you can see these every night up above. From grandma to you, with all my love.
