PLEA

Author: Dr. ram Sharma

Poem:
PLEA

  PLEA
I never said to you,
To wipe the tears of others,
But i made a plea,
Not to make others weep,
I made the plea,
To fill the lives of others,
With happiness,
I have made the plea,
To blossom flowers,
Of different colours,
Light the lives of others,
With my plea

We Are BasketBall Players

Poem: We Are BasketBall Players

We Are BasketBall Players

People don’t play basketball because its fun. Ask any player, most of them fear it. But they couldn’t imagine life without it. Its apart of them, the love/hate relationship. It’s what they live for. They live for the long practices, cheers, long bus rides, championships, night games, and countless pairs of basketball shoes and long socks. They live for the taste of water or gatorade and to hear coaches that yell and laugh. They live for the way it feels when they beat the other team, and knowing those extra set of lines and push-ups in practice were worth it. They live for the way they became a family with their team. They live for the countless songs they sing in there head while training all those painful hours. They live for the sound of their heart pulse pounding frantically as they do sets of lines. They live for the competition, they live for their teammates. The memories, the pain, blood and sweat. It’s who they are, Its Who We Are. We are Basketball Players
