Poem:
FIRST BIRTHDAY ! (FROM BABY GIRL’S HEART)

At last, my first birthday is here.
My toddler days are very near.

My granny is going to bake,
a yummy chocolate cake.

Daddy is making goody bags,
to keep happy all the rug rats.

Grandpa has invited, all the silly kids,
some are liking thumbs, some are wearing bibs.

Mommy said to keep away from any mess,
after wearing, my white birthday dress.

Getting gifts, is the best part of all,
I wish I’d get a cute Barbie doll,

First birthday is a precious time
always to remember like a nursery rhyme

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

Author: Crystal Wilding

Poem: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

The cake is made,
invitations sent.
The place looks great,
the table is set.
Balloons are blown,
theres streamers all around.
Party bags and birthday hats,
and for me, a paper crown.
One person shows
and then another.
My family members came
The next one, just a mother.
I get a card
and a little money.
My favorite present
was a stuffed bunny.
I should be happy
but I feel so sad.
I don't get it,
I feel kinda mad.
I get a gift
from everyone but you.
I hate to admit it
but I know its true.
I say thank you to everyone
put on a fake smile.
I'm tearing up inside
feel like I've been draged a mile.
I'm your daughter
I shouldn't be treated this way.
Don't you remember
when together we would play?
My heart hurts so much,
it feels like a train hit me.
I can't stop cying
I thought you loved me.
You may be my father
but you don't act like one.
A dad is a special title
they're suppose to be really fun.
All you've done
is caused me pain.
never been there through my life,
always a loss, never a gain.
Even through all
the things you've done.
I still forgive you,
but no one won.
I move on with my life
try to forget the past.
the only thing Ii can say is:
I love You Dad.
This is the normal routine,
as all of you can see.
And I don't know how it could be,
A Happy Birthday To Me.
