Today is your day,
Today everyone ´round you gonna be gay,
Today strangers and friends will bless you,
Today you´ll see that love and life´re true.
The world is spinning, springing and singing,
The sky his lightest blue and brightest sun is bringing,
The flowers in their best blossoms are dressed,
The wildest beasts congratulate and long to be caressed.
You only see us rarely go to church,
You, though, today don´t have to search.
You will for long see us here stay,
You know the reason, why we pray today!
We thank the Lord,
for you are our best award!

So now you are a teen sitting with me between decks; although your body is so close I feel your soul is sailing towards some distant shore already; almost all I can do now for you is hold you tight to help you overcome your seasickness.
