MAGICAL DAY

Poem:	MAGICAL DAY

	A poet I am not as we all know, And yet a poem I shall write with prose and flow. Your birthday is the reason I take pen to paper, the special meaning it has I hope to make clearer. 30 years ago this day you were born, a beautiful rose but beware the thorn. A remarkable woman you would grow to be, and how wonderful and special you are to me. For the day we met, I am grateful forever, for your smile, your quick wit and how you can be so clever. You have made me such a better person by far, you are my sun, my moon, my twinkling star. Though this poem be corny and the rhyming bad, you are my wife and for this I am glad. I promise to always love you as I did at our wedding, until we are wrinkled and old and my pants I am wetting. May this poem in some small significant way, convey my feelings of love to you on this special day. A happy birthday I wish you from my heart so true, a wonderful magical day, like every day I spend with you.

	Maybe, just maybe, the guests will be here! For today is a happy day! You see, I'm turning eight today! Now what shall I say? I know! I know! I know! I know! Something for the birthday girl! I'll paint a pretty painting, and we'll call it birthday mural! I'll paint all of my dearest friends, and that's including me! Then, my mom will hang it up, for everyone to see!
