Two Poems from our Cats Poetry Collection

THE TIGER

Author: Nicole Greenwood

Poem:
THE TIGER

When the tiger is in a mood
The tiger always wants some food
When I give the tiger a little tap
It always has a little nap
But don't make a noise it might wake up
And it will eat your pet pup
The tiger is part of the cats
Not dogs, frogs or wild rats
If you're not careful it will bite
I'll tell you what, that will give you a fright
It will roar as loud as it can
It is like a cheering football fan
I'll tell you what, don't go near
Because it will give you a scary fear

CHAMP

Author: Laura Whittaker

Poem: CHAMP

My cat is called champ she's such a delight
her coat is all shiny her eyes are so bright
her face is so small and as cute as can be
im so very glad that she belongs to me.

Her nature is playful, her love is so free
curled under the fire or sat on my knee
sleeping by day and hunting by night
for me my cat champ was love at first sight.
