INTRODUCING CARROT

Author: Tyson Smith

Poem:
INTRODUCING CARROT

  That curious stare,
That bright orange hair,
That deep, focused look,
That cat on my book,

Introducing Carrot.

That mad dash, escaping loud pots and pans,
That sudden midnight change in plans,
That terrifying scratch at my door,
That little present on my floor,

Introducing Carrot.

That spreading of fur in my house,
That crazy dance with her toy mouse,
That little pink nose,
That ball of fur curled around my toes,

Introducing Carrot.

That little surprise,
That tail, those eyes!
That cardboard box for a bed,
That happy smile when she's fed,

Introducing Carrot.

That little pose,
That nuzzle at my toes,
That little bundle of love,
This is my job of,

INTRODUCING CARROT.

CAT-ALOGUE

Author: Tanja Cilia

Poem: CAT-ALOGUE

Slim and slinky
Sleek and cute
Dark and dinky
Cunning, astute
Tortoiseshell or ginger
Or a persian humdinger
Miaowling and scratching
Attractive and fetching
That's
Cats
