| MR. BOOTS |

Walking slowly with perfect markings,
He silently creeps up the cracked walk.
You have no idea you are his "prey",
Pounce and claws makes you quite his toy.
I speak of my old friend, Mr. Boots,
He looked more like a tux than cat.
Boots was the cats' meow and more,
Cool was his life, charm was game.
So clever was he,
Smart was etched in his brain.
I had never met a cat like he,
He broke the kitty mold at blessed birth.
Alas, Mr. Boots died in a farm trap,
We cried for days for him to come.
Dad found him and buried him out back,
We knew our precious cat had gone away. |

May my Guardian Angel Be with me at all times; Watching out for me She wouldn't want me To die a horrible death, The way she did. My kitten, Angel, I never had the chance, Other than now, To say good-bye. I miss your meow Wanting me to watch you eat Wanting to be petted But not to be held. You wanted all the attention And now I wish I would have given it to you When you wanted it Because I can't give it to you now. You died... While I was gone Good-bye now my angel Love forever and, Rest in peace, My loving kitten.
