A vanquished look and liquid face to match my melting eyes. Who is this girl I see mocking cruelly. A quick glimpse I catch of this lone child bleeding tears for me.
Her sullen cheeks are sunken by despair. Her smile once bright as light itself is gone. Black frowns, knit brows are all that she will wear to weakly show in earnest, she’s withdrawn.
And yet this face is too distinct, too hard to just dismiss. Familiarity strikes like lightning, pure disregard It cannot be, scarred sincerity.
I see my face fill with a sheer resolve, still lake, me, anguish and her problem solved. |

LOOK AT ME |
| |
|
|
I never lived, So how can I die? My body is here but, My soul is somewhere high. Look at me, Am I a waste? Can you see, feel or understand the pain, That’s written on my face? I never knew joy, So how can I know gloom? Is there a device that’ll measure, This life so meaningless and doomed? How can I live? When my life has no reason. And I stopped looking forward To the changing seasons.
