HOMELESS MAN

Author: Andrea Da costa

Poem:
HOMELESS MAN

  He huddles in a doorway
clothed in layers
of scavenged oddments.

Withered hands clutch filthy sacks
to a gaunt body
to stave off bitter cold.

In his eyes the ache
of many concrete doorways
like this one.

YOUR GONE

Author: Amy Clothier

Poem: YOUR GONE

I wanted you to stay
so why did you leave
I wanted you to be there by my side
but it was your time to go
not your time to stay
god wanted you on this very day
we wont know why and we wont know how
but we you died i totally have broke down
it all bottled up inside
and it felt like i couldnt breath
i just wanted you back but you had to leave
untill this day i can still remember
all the good times we had together
the memories that will last forever
but untill the day that i go to heaven
i will miss you and you will be in heart
since we had to be ripped apart
