YOUR GONE

Author: Amy Clothier

Poem:
YOUR GONE

  I wanted you to stay
so why did you leave
I wanted you to be there by my side
but it was your time to go
not your time to stay
god wanted you on this very day
we wont know why and we wont know how
but we you died i totally have broke down
it all bottled up inside
and it felt like i couldnt breath
i just wanted you back but you had to leave
untill this day i can still remember
all the good times we had together
the memories that will last forever
but untill the day that i go to heaven
i will miss you and you will be in heart
since we had to be ripped apart

RICH FOOL (IF YOU CAN)

Author: Emmanuel Yenwong fai

Poem: RICH FOOL (IF YOU CAN)

Ah! Sweet money
Nothing less than honey
Burying worries like death
Bringing joy unlike death

Who says there is life without you?
Who drinks sweet wine without you?
Who leads people without you?
Who is honoured without you?

Did you say Jesus?
Is he drinkable?
Crown of thorns, ha! King?
Disgraced on carpenters cross?

Dine, wine and merry with me
Money sings all songs
All tunes, it provides for me
Money moves all tongues
All languages, it speaks for me

Ah! Sweet money lets plan sunrise

You rich fool! Sleep firm and rise no more
Mr. Money! Wake him at sunup for more
If you can.
I, the Carpenter have spoken.
