World's famous morner

Author: Crystal Rice

Poem:
World's famous morner

A little girl alone on the corner
Soon to be the "World Famous Morner"
Sat thinking about a time when life was good
Love was ripe and hearts said they could

What happened you may ask
The worlds always makin things seem easy but soon off be the mask
For a young girl soon learned the face of jealously and hate
When she found love with her very first mate

As destiny intertwines like Adam and Eve
Harsh words would soon make him leave
Bitter rage, pride, and sweet innosence made her leave him be
For who knows what could've happened to people like she

As destiny burns a hole in her heart
Turning her to be cold and a tart
She will never forget loves first kiss
And He she will forever miss

For though destiny decides our path
We can change it and learn to laugh
The poor little girl alone in her world she is
And she will forever be with him and him she'll miss.

One day

Author: Sherman Tovar

Poem: One day

One day

One day I hope to be completely free,
As I simply walk into your heart,
Without any pains and worry free.

One day I hope to be as strong as you,
To face my fears and once again be with you,
I wish for forgotten things,
And dream of memories.

A last smile I faked
Only seeking to still be with you,
The sacrifice I did
Even though I never knew why
I stayed with you
Pushing me to break.

I have tried to do everything you wanted me too,
Yet it never seemed to be good enough for you,
Even though you have never known a frown
You will one day too fall down.

One day I hope to be completely free,
Free from your heartless ways.
Marching away from my nightmares I called dreams.
First intelligent act I ever did
Finally leaving you alone.
When I looked into your eyes
I saw nothing there to see,
All I saw were my own mistakes
staring back at me,
In a pool of darkness they stayed,
Waiting hopefully that one day
One day the one person whom those eyes belonged to
Would be me.
