Two Poems from our Dark Poems, Depressing Poems, Death Poetry Collection

Tomorrow is another day

Author: Jeffrey Morris

Poem:
Tomorrow is another day

  Tomorrow is another day
I'll be happy in some odd way
There's so many things I want to say
But yesterday was yesterday
And tomorrow is another day.

Maybe I can get a fresh new start
From everything that fell apart
I keep on thinking that I'm smart
Though I can't help, but fall apart
I guess I'm really not that smart.

There's so many things I want to do
So many things, I never knew
So many things, I'll never do
So many things, I want to tell you
Cause everyday I feel so blue.

Nevermind, it's all down the drain
Forget it now, it won't kill the pain
I'm lost forever, I'm so insane
I gave up hope to be the same
I hate it all, and have to complain.

Tomorrow is another day
I'll ruin myself, in some way
Forget the things I didn't say
Cause yesterday was yesterday
Tomorrow's another pointless day.

Hell's calling

Author: Justin Snyder

Poem: Hell's calling

Hello my friend,do you have the time of day
To listen to me whine in such a way
Of a dream I dreamt we all should fear
Its quite horrifying so please stay near

As I lay my head down for some rest
I feel my mind depressed and distressed
All of these voices cry like thunder
But miraculously somehow I still find slumber

Then forged from embers and from the ash
Born of flame and crimson light
A dream or vision was born that night

As an ember, it first grew
Spread across my sky so blue
Till at last the sky turned red
Burning furiously with fiery dread

As a spark it was triggered
Till all of my land became disfigured
With the ground engulfed, and walls ablaze
Nothing can be seen throughout the darkening haze

And from this fire can be heard
Screams of torment sharply stirred
Begging for just one moment of relief
From the great inferno's burning grief

I didn't know its dangerousness
I didn't know its deadliness
But alas I found out a tad too late
Nothing could have saved me from this hellish fate

Finally,in the ash I had awoken
Only to find my spirit divided and broken
Was this nightmare a vision or not
If so true, then the world shall rot
