War In Iraq

So I hear alot of people talking about 9/11 and justifying the war in Iraq.
Lets get one thing straight.

9/11 and Iraq, have this many things in common: 0

Thats right. Iraq had absolutely NOTHING to do with September 11th attacks! Suprised? Don't be.
So, who's responsible you ask? Afghanistan?
Try again.
Thats right, you heard it again Afghanistan also had NOTHING to do with 9/11
The real perpetrators? All Muslims? Try again
Every Middleastern country? Try again
NO, the real bad guys are: Al Qaeda.
Some of you might be asking "Whats the difference?". Well the difference is, that Al Qaeda is simply a group of people who decided they didn't like us. To put it in another way, imagine that a country invaded us solely to reprise the actions of the Klu Klux Klan. Thats an entire country being blamed for an extremely small group of people (19 bombers involved, and combined, there are roughly 50 million people living in Afghanistan and Iraq.)

So we bombed Bagdhad for nothing? Yes and No. The arguments for that are many, and thats where it starts getting down to opinion. I personally don't beleive we (the U.S.) have the right to police the world, but I also think that what Saddam Hussein was doing was incredibly wrong. So I'm on the fence about that.

That fact is, I've heard many people ill informed about all this. I even once heard someone seriously say we should drop the atomic bomb on "them". If you don't see whats wrong with that, go to a quiet room, sit down on the floor, and try thinking for an hour. If you still can't come up with anything, gimme a call.

Thanks.

So sorry if I offended anyone, but if you read this and think something along the lines with "He's with 'them'" or that I'm anti-American or something, then congratulations, you just succumbed to American Propaganda!
