Just Among Friends (18)

It is the middle of the night and in a few hours the new
working week will begin. There will be heavy selling on
the stock market and already the first train to Sydney
has set off.

I went outside a moment ago and heard what sounded like
a Kookaburra stirring,it seemed to be mocking everyone
as it chuckled. Doubt whether it owns any shares but it
seemed sublimely happy anyway.

They have put a fence around the compost heap because
someone claimed it was a health hazard. Seems everything
you do these days arouses criticism somewhere.

If you want to get talked about do something! Do nothing
and the fingers will point anyway!
