JUDGE COMMENTS: "A delightful sonnet with wonderful imagery in which the poet has captured the beauty of a little piece of Ireland with his skill and which lifts the reader to share in his appreciation of it as God’s work. He captures the reader with words that reveal the depth of his love for his land and gives it a wonderfully smooth finish with 'A quiet man is standing, upon the land of emerald green.' Congratulations to the author for re-creating this beauty with his skill in good rhyming and rhythm that flows effortlessly throughout."

JUDGE COMMENTS: "A nature poem with good rhyme and rhythm that paints the picture of a season’s change. The imagery is beautiful “ Frozen lakes and streams are stilled, forming scenes of quiet peace. ” - it captures the essence of what the eye beholds. Well done. Congratulations to the author."

JUDGE COMMENTS: "A very poignant poem that captures the end of a relationship and the two who come together one last time 'mourning the end' in a 'last waltz'. Skillful imagery beautifully derived with a minimum of words, which captures the entire room and the atmosphere around them. This is very creative. Congratulations to the author.”

Justin is eligible for a $25 paypal payment if a paypal email address is provided.

All poems were read by three independent judges. Each judge could reward a star to a poem that was read if they thought it was a top poem. All poems that received one or more stars from the judges were then classified as finalists. The Finalists were then read and reviewed again in a final round of judging to then choose the top poems.

Thanks again to everybody. Great Job!
