SANTA CLAUS

a writing by Edwin Keith Jepson

He has been around
For thousands of years
Dressed in red
With a snowy
White beard
With his famous
Reindeers pulling his sledge
Once a year
Santa keeps his pledge
And with millions of presents
Adding to childrens delight
He does his utmost
On Christmas Eve night
It is no easy task
Santa cannot even pause
No wonder when its Christmas
We adore Santa Claus
I wonder what Santa has ever year
Perhaps a cigar
And a few pints of beer
It is said
He lives with his reindeers
At the North Pole
In a massive house
Which plays a big part
In Santas role
We have never heard of a Mrs Claus
So a very Merry Christmas
To Mr Santa Claus
