I see a little baby girl,
Her eyes are pools of blue,
She's sitting up inside her pram,
Admiring the view,
Children playing in the park,
Laughing, playing in the pool,
Fooling around and sipping pop,
They're overjoyed, a day off school,
Friends and mothers mingle,
A big brass band goes by ,
A kite is flying overhead,
Circling high towards the sky,
The little baby girl I see,
Finally fixes her eyes on me,
Then suddenly she starts to cry,
And being her mother, I know just why,
She is ready for another bottle,
So I begin to leave the park,
And as I'm strolling past the gate,
I hear a baby Lark,
