Keith Lumbard Sad News

a writing by Keith Lumbard

My dear friends,

I am literally snatching moments to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year.

So as you understand after receiving a phone call on the 2nd December I had to dash from Portsmouth to Thetford where my elderly parents live and bring them home to our house. ( and their pooch)
My poor mum is suffering with depression as the burden of constant visits to see and care for my Nan who is ninety nine years young and having suffered a stroke 14 years ago. On top of that my dear Father struggles painfully with dementia. The care of my parents has been shared with my sister who lives near by though my parents are staying with my dear and loyal Angie, myself and our very accommodating and understanding foster children.
There is much sadness in witnessing the struggles our Father is experiencing and strain and torment both parents are enduring. We are frantically trying to put together a plan before I return to work on the 7th January. As I hope you understand I will be absent from Voicesnet for some considerable time and will miss all of my friends. I am fearful of the immediate future with regards to both my parents and finding a suitable solution to accommodate and satisfy their long term care.

Again with love and best wishes I bid all my friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Take care.
