We go to the shed straight away. It is an old fashioned type of shed. I am worried about the material (wood) as I remember incidents in the past where I have contacted it. However, it is such a huge shed that my flames will not touch it.
“What do you think of the shed?” Rosie asks.
“I think it would be a perfect home.”
“Rosie beams and goes forward with her hands open. What are you doing?”
“I’m trying to give you a hug but then I remembered…”
“That you aren’t human.”
“Do humans not hug robots?”
“I don’t think so.”
“Maybe they do.”
She gently wraps her arms around me and then unwraps them again.
“How was that?” she asks.
Then she walks towards the door.
“Are you leaving me?”
“No I’m just going to get my parents so they can meet you.”
“What if they don’t like me?” I’m fearing they will try to destroy me and then I will defend myself and then Rosie will not like me anymore and I will lose my home.
“They will love you,” she says and then she skips away.
I still do not understand humans.
