You Are Special "One Foot In The Grave + Lyrics"
The callings from the mountain high, where're the heart and mind is tossed, to come in from the wilderness, where yesterday the soul was lost. Did Jesus not live for us all? Yes, even those who drove the nail, but with His dying breath, He'd call, forgive them all, when their hearts fail. If only faith, and born again, for God the Father and the Son, will never turn His back on you, believing He is ONE!
“Where are you, where are you” being the short statement of words brought out unto all as a small group gathered so to make progress with a hike across rough land. All had soon reached the point of gathering into one group so to hopefully march on from beside what was, the stunted oak. A dead tree that had been struck by lightning many years previous. I suppose, so closely in a variety of ways, representing the scenes of a reasonable percent of the NHS management members I had been under, all during my period of progress within the National Health where naturally, most workers would have advanced like lightning.
The group of people for the hike I had joined with meanwhile, had no choice at this stage but to make slow progress across what through recent weather had become, such wet and marshy footpaths across such existing farm land of Derbyshire. However, it was after being under such stress and strain so to keep ones balance upon such acres of earth, improvements came to pass and we were upon earth which we were able to walk with more comfort and ease. The plan of the particular stroll had been studied and now it was up to each and every person present, to assist in finding their way into the scene of where all had happened. I suppose so very much, simply walking round in a circle, and the total length being covered reaching five or six miles.
I had been viewing information from a book provided to me, which informed folk of the necessary exercise and physical activity they required. Ways to increase your activities and improve ones health. For it had been since finishing work, my mind and therefore body also, had greatly missed such activities of my past profession. Maybe a modest amount of weight could be lost over time through more exercise, yet I was confident, and it was found correct too, that more would have been lost back in the days of when all workers of the NHS, had the need to advance and naturally to progress on over the management, thats correct; like lightening.
It would have been through trained workers moving on so well, when all of such members among the management sector would have been able to do, would have been, respond with such a solemn appearance of solitude for; they would have been lost. Left behind so to scan their way through so many challenges alone and so often finding themselves to be upon an unknown path. An appearance of dehydration through lack of water unto the brain would have come to pass upon the face of the management members, as if they were in desperate need of added sugar. The particular person likewise, would have trailed in varieties of food at a predicted time.
It was here meanwhile that the group of hikers attained their target when reaching; The Carpenters Arms for both food and drink unto all those in need. One animal we had the pleasure of having with us from the beginning, was an adult Labradoodle dog who had the name Barnie. He so keenly kept a watch upon his owner as she disappeared into the bar so to hand over, all the chosen orders of food and drinks. The weather meanwhile unto those left outdoors was very warm as from above within a blue sky, the sun continued to radiate. Barnie however, remained standing on all fours as he showed his expression of concern over towards the bar; where his owner so it appeared, had vanished into thin air?
Eventually, she returned walking with a variety of drinks and all food orders that were soon to be delivered by a waitress. What was now interesting unto all, was how we all seemed to have a different taste. So many different orders, both food and drink. Different ingredients; sweet, savory, spicy, tangy, sour or even bitter. It was decided that through the NHS management being so moody and glum, they must all have a sour taste. “Must be correct,” being such a straight and speedy response like lightning from a sensible number; “we stated earlier on of their solemn appearance of solitude,”
The walk meantime was soon underway once again. All had finished at the bar of The Carpenters Arms. We were now to find a way back by making use of a different route. My feet through me not having been under such a strain for so long, were now beginning to feel a pain through tension. However, we eventually through it being through such stress and strain, managed to reach our destination; home. The vehicles we had travelled in, we had reached. Once hiking boots had been cleaned of all signs of mud, all were allowed to draw into the necessary vehicle and settle. Barnie sat in an upward position just behind the rear seat, or put another way, back seat of the vehicle. He had climbed in through the boot so to be seated behind those who sat exhausted. He too was panting all the way, as his owner kindly saw us so far home.
It was the following day, when I caught a bus into the city. I had time to myself and was wondering if at all I would be hearing from offers of voluntary work. I simply roamed round the local pathways or pedestrianised area of the city. The occasion arrived when I had a few attractive females on approach up to me. They each attempted to hand over a particular leaflet together with their words; “Hyson Green.” Actually, once I had managed to filter the words into the mind so as for all to fall into position, it brought to my mind, the meaning being the colour codes on most if not all food containers these days. High Green! However, I promised I would read the article when I had the opportunity.
I made my way onto what I saw as my favourite bar in the city; The Round House where, it appeared nobody apart from the bar-maid to serve the costumer, was present. She informed me that they had just opened and I was the first that day. “Well,” being my response, “I must be being guided!”
Her right hand pulled the arm so to fill the appropriate glass with the alcoholic drink I had chosen, a pint of Draught Guinness as she asked me what I was doing? I informed her of wishing I could simply find a workforce to become involved with by voluntary work. I was in such a desperate need of both a supply of mental activity and, physical activity too. It was after I had informed her of it being voluntary work, she responded warmly as her left hand struck the wooden bar top together with the words; “Touch Wood.” My glass of Guinness was then handed over to me together with a grateful comment as I found my way, over to a comfortable arm chair so to read my leaflet:
“Believe it or not – there is no one else who is just like you. Your physical appearance, your voice and personality traits – your habits – intelligence, personal tastes – each and all of these make you one of a kind. Even your fingerprints distinguish you from every other human being – past present or future. You are not the product of some cosmic assembly line; you are unique. But the most important fact of your identity is that God created you in His own image, Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
“You are special indeed! God has total interest in you individually. The psalmist stated in one of his most beautiful prayers, Psalm 139:14 “I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvellous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”
“God knew you even before you were born. He had plans just for you, plans conceived in love. As you appreciate God’s constant concern for you, you must begin to understand the awfulness of sin. He loves you so much; yet how often have you gone your own way and turned your back on Him through sin? Gods great design for your life is so often if not constantly prevented because His eyes cannot behold sin. Yet even in our sinful state, we are still precious to Him. He still sees as individuals with great value.”
“There is no wonder the psalmist declared; How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You. Psalm 139:17-18. God is not an unfeeling, cold hearted monarch of the heavens. He feels our pains; He shares our sorrows. He cares and He considers each one of us important enough to love.”
“In fact, we read from 1John 4:10 That He loves us so much, He gave His only Son to die for our sins. “Herein is love,” the bible says, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
“Because you are special to God, He wants to forgive you and give you a full, meaningful life. When you trust in Jesus Christ and let Him put your life together, the bible says; You become “Gods masterpieces, created in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
“Can anyone be more special than that?”
“Yes, you are valuable to God! If you have never trusted Jesus Christ for your salvation, you can pray the following prayer and be saved today:”
“Lord, thank-you for sending Jesus Christ to die for my sins and rise from the dead so that I can understand your forgiveness and live with you forever more. Right know Lord, I ask Jesus Christ to be my Saviour so that I can, live as the very special creation that you intended. Thank-you Lord for saving me, in Jesus name. Amen”
