LINGUISTIC HUMOUR

a writing by Adam Archer

Q: What is a linguist’s favourite dessert?
A: Synonym rolls.

Q: What is it with words these days?
A: They have been phonetically modified.

The past, the present and the future all walked into a bar. It was tense.

The fact that the word ‘phonetically’ does not start with an ‘f’ could raise some trust issues.

The owl said, “who” or should that be, “whom”?

Perusing the internet with the intention of finding some light hearted humour. Hope you get a chuckle out of at least one of these. Good day, Adam.
