a poem by Satheesan Rangorath, India - poetry writer, author, poet

A gush of fresh air fills the room.
Imprisoned foulness vanishes into thin,
As Window opens to the vast expanse,
Merging in the tender blue sky

Every cell rejuvenated quivering
Excited, by tender touch of grace
Entire world peeps in her sober colours
Illuminating all the shades and textures

In bits and pieces memories awake
Dancing to the tunes of soulful music
The sun, the moon, the stars all join,
Entwined in the embrace of freedom

Who made this prison in nether?
Beyond the reaches of sunshine
Who made this chain of coldness?
Laming the world by frost bite.
