The Gift of Truth

a poem by Kristine J. Trudeau, USA

Wrapped in swaddling clothes, in a manger long ago;
raised as a carpenter, ‘til it was time to go,
and preach to the masses, the rich, the poor, the meek,
about the love of the Father, His truths to all who seek.
Hold fast to the Truth, Christ Jesus.
Reject what would lead astray.
Truth was born in a stable. Truth taught us to pray.
Truth is God incarnate. Truth is the Word of God.
Truth is the gift to humanity, to all who walk this sod.
Reject not, the Truth before you. Know the Word, be not deceived.
Jesus, the Son of the Father, the Truth is all you need.
