SOMEONE IS DYING

a poem by Gail P. Kay, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

Sorrows and sorrows
Are all my tomorrows
No gladness, no joy
No wishes at all
Just my lonely heart crying
Because someone is dying
And taking my love
To their grave.
A laughing face sleeping
In stillness;
I’m weeping
And longing for joy
Once again.
