Dancing In The Rain

a poem by Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Montik, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

I’m dancing in the rain,
the cold drops melt on me,
I am alone,
no one can see.

A single tear
joins the drops,
and with a whisper,
the time stops.

All is gone,
the music hushed,
my tiny world,
has been crushed.

All I can do,
is ask you why,
and willfully,
wait for the reply.
