a poem by Lee Emmett, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

wizened wizard
winds wide withe
waves wand where
water would wash

willow whacks
waxy wood
when wallaby
whispers ‘whoa!’

who would wonder?
what will wait?
waspish whalebone
wounds white winkle

winnowers wallow
while winsome winter
welches; wet window
weeps woeful wink

woman went ‘wow!’
wobbles, wanders
works wicked words
with wild wily ways
