Do YOU REMEMBER

a poem by Thelma Elizabeth Zaracostas, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

FROM TRINITY MICHELE'S BLUE FOLDER

Do you remmber
the stormy night
that lighted up the sky
when you would make me
laugh at you
in case

in fear, I'd cry

Do you remember
when I turned six
you bought me a chinese light

it really was my favourite toy
cause it kept me safe at night.

Do you remmber
the attic house
where we would sit on rainy days
and
the ghost in there with a long black hat
And the games we used to play.
Maybe you don't
But
I know I do, cause those days were a special kind
thank you for being there brother mine
I hope you didn't mind.
love Trinity Michelle
