FLY, FALL (Alliterative Double Ethere)

a poem by Lee Emmett, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

Fly
from fence
flippantly.
Fabulous feat
follows far flung fields
forty, fifty furlongs.
Free-wheeling fine fountainhead
frivolous funambulist flits.
Frightfully freckled friend fulminates
ferociously fiddling fictitious file.
Feckless fanatic festoons furniture.
Frazzled funereal figure flees
formidable foolhardy freak.
Festival fraternity
(fearing forefathers’ fuss)
ferment fiasco
firing furnace
for final
foolish
fall.
