a poem by Linda Bates Terrell, USA

First love so true,
Lasting loves so few,
True love, or lasting love,
Not one with out the other.

For marriage is built upon a rock,
Where many like to flock,
But only those few that stay true,
Remain members of just two,
Love to them sticks like glue.

Years of triumph of lasting loves situations,
Scraping together their own definitions,
Of hope, faith, and limited reservations.
