THE SILENT PATH

a poem by Satish Verma, India

The silent path wails.
Travellers from far off places trudge on it,
to explore the myth of man.
The silent path weeps.
“ No’’, says the tree. Shadows always move,
sun is the main culprit
The silent path bleeds.
it has to witness the rape of the wind.
No body. The silent path dies, has left foot prints.
