a poem by Michael Flores Caasi, Philippines - poetry writer, author, poet

Relax those tedious hands,
For you are old and gray;
Rest from your countless stands
Hail to sunsets of your days.

Retreat those busy mind
From thinking of what lies ahead;
Enjoy your life, calm down,unwind,
Repair the loosen longest thread.

Treat yourself with myriad rests,
No labor, no worries, no sweat to bear.
Unravel your souls, caress the zest
of life's glorious pleasureable cares.
