ANTS

a poem by Michael Flores Caasi, Philippines - poetry writer, author, poet

In a big big cruel world they live,
Never you can call them so naive,
for they inhabit in complex,
well-organized colonies --
Together forever,
in surviving catastrophies.

Belittle not for they're so strong
To Herculean world they all belong
Can carry heavier than they are,
Can travel to places even far.

Their virtues are unity and determination
Journeying together to distant destination.
Do not know the word procrastination
They work really hard with power and with passion.
