Two Lives Meet

a poem by Linda Bates Terrell, USA

My lover,
he approaches,
his hands warm,
his heart cool,
both such a fool.

He kisses me,
caresses my,
my mind and soul,
a denied temptation,
lust an love
out of control.

I look up,
into his eyes,
as I hear my,
own sighs,
and as I do,
great emotions,
slid.

Our souls glow,
of two lives untold,
two lives meet,
for a few hours,
of love.

A treat to both
so long denied.
