a poem by Drsudarsan Damodar Prasad, India - poetry writer, author, poet

Boss is lost-
In deep thought,
Normally he won't
Even if it-
Is an act,
Needed to save his life,
Or his wallet.

He has the expression,
Of the alley-tabby cat,
who has lost,
A fat fried fish-
To a fatter ,
And more meaner,
Growling tom-cat.

There is this wicked destiny;
For his new Boss:
Is none other than-
His former divorced wife,
Who used to claim-
Huge bills of alimony!
