tender love

a poem by Charles Fisher, UK

Shed of her dress
Slip under the bed sheets
Her body settled upon mine
Her body stretched over mine
Her body firm and lean
Her dark hair drapped over my face
Her strands of hair feel like soft lace
Her lips are moist the kiss lingers on and on
Like a piano note that likes to hold its
Own musical note
Her hazle bright eyes dazzle me
Trapped my soul that doen't want to let go
I kiss her slender neck
Desire for her run through my lips
My fingertips explore the contours of her curves
An exploration of love that's happy to be found
Everything is right
You are here with me in this bed
Caught in a surf we both swept away
By the tender love making waves
