Jasper's Star

a poem by Shaunda Yvette, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

Take me on a natural high...
Are you the star that I see shining so brightly next to the moonlight?
Or are you the spoon that I see next to the big dipper?
Why should I go skinny dipping with you shining down on me...
Chocolate Tah way up high...
Sugar coated deep blue skies.
Me alone staring at the sea piece by piece the clouds form a unity.
The moon beams so bright, the breeze cools me right.
This very night is out of sight.
Twinkle twinkle little star where are you?
There you are...
Is that my star shining so brightly..
Can you really see me.
If so, grant me a wish.
Only you know the depths beneath my soul.
I do believe I am not alone.
Touched by angel you can see me from any angle.
You know the desires of my heart as well as today and from the very start.
Piece by piece things for me are as bliss as having unity...
