Muzik Man

a poem by Shaunda Yvette, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

Muzik man...
You intrigue me like Schroeder does Lucy.
May I lean my head on your shoulder
As you play the piano...
Delight me with your brillant muzik.
Although, Schroeder treats Lucy a bit rudely.
Maybe that's because she's a lil cuckoo.
You treat me so kindly and speak to me nicely.
I must admit, it seems I have you a lil tonque-tied.
But that's alright,
I know you love me.
And when we get married...
You can sing me to sleep.
