Weeping child

a poem by Joseph Chukwudiegwu Osita, Nigeria

Who could set free, this weeping child?
Weeping in the soul of this horrorful road.
Singing flies sympathizes when he sobs
And his bent neck signals hunger.

Who could set free, this weeping child?
Weeping in the soul of this horroful road
Clothed by brownish smoke of earth
And watching glittering cars caring
Songs of petroleum pass-by
With no one asks why when why
Eats peoples’ patience
It’s high time there judgment came
For no hell,hells our hell
And the big belly shall consume
No more wealth nor-petroleum
But fire and agony from the father in hell
