a poem by Linda Bates Terrell, USA

I watched the clock on the wall,
I hoped it wouldn't be long at all.
I listened as the distant bell rang,
The children in the yard softly sang.

I clutched my books one by one,
I gazed upon the afternoon sun.
I realized, we are and will always be,
Within Gods glorious creation, set free.

Memories of what it was like to be a child.
Children's heart run free only while as a child.
Keeping a youthful attitude helps one feel free.

Freedom's Sacrifices
From The Beginning
The red, white, and blue.
