36 steps

a poem by Michelle Klemm, Germany - poetry writer, author, poet

Two years are gone so soon.
This lonelyness, just wish you were here.
This cold, I'm aching for you.
But unfortunatly you are not near.
I see you almost every day.
But I never asked you the question.
You do not come to me.
But you are with her so often.
Your smile has enchanted me.
You sometimes chatted with me.
Your eyes twinkle in the light.
Anyhow I have no heart to do it.
I read this poem.
I feel like in the court.
I try to scream out your name.
The only this that seperates us, are 36 steps.

Like the sun and the moon
Friendship, Love & Family
Dancing leaves
