LAMENTATIONS OF LOVE I

a poem by Oredola Olamilekan Ibrahim, Nigeria

...It comes again,
Creeping through my memory lane
Walking on my ideal path of sane
Caressing the remote part of my heart
Making my soul to search the earth
The earth, which is indeed nothing
Without your lovely standing being
Silently, your love keeps singing
Like a lovely Dove, indeed clinging
On the apex throne of my thought
I felt a relieve from the fuss,but...
I'm in real pain, cause your absence
Has made in miserable...my presence!
I'm lonesome here...in full fire
My love is gone, my desire
