Feminine legs clap better

a poem by Joseph Chukwudiegwu Osita, Nigeria

As soon as the whistle wailed
I saw the feminine legs clapping hard
With Nigeria pride, the green, white and green.
Perpetual Nkwocha the killer in front of goal post,
Was today lent the sword of Caesar.
In anger she tore the flesh of her victims,
In company with murderers of mercy

Who shall question the power of a woman,
When she does not only conquer her man’s conqueror
But tread the path where men are made blood?
The indomitable lioness of Cameroon-the
Pride that sweets only the ear,
Was in pool blood murdered today.
How can a candle endorsed by the stars
Over shine the rays of a charged sun?
According to the wise man with a screen face,
Equatorial Guinea shall be baptized on Sunday
But who shall farther the new born victim
When the super falcons unleash the meek gift of hell?

This poem is dedicated to our women national team-the Super Falcons. They are really blazing the thrills at the on going African nations cup
